G.O.A.T.

OFTEN IMITATED...NEVER DUPLICATED.

SEX IS THE MESSAGE, BUT THE LEVEL OF CLASS IS UNSURPASSED. UN-FADE-ABLE.

LOVE TO THE WORLD
MARVINS BEEN DEAD NEARLY 30 YEARS (A SENSELESS AND TRAGIC DEATH) YET AND STILL, NONE CAN TOUCH HIM.

IM NOT GOING TO EVEN SPEAK ON THE CLIMATE OF TODAYS POPULAR R&B AND ITS RUDE, CRASS LYRICS AND THE STATE OF ITS 1 MINUTE SHELF LIFE.

SHOUTS TO ADAM G. FOR HIPPING ME TO THIS LINK.

THIS MAY BE THE START OF A SERIES OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMERS VIDEOS.

this was shot during his 2 years stay in Ostend Belgium. I would recommend you the entire movie:

Kon,

Greatest singer, greatest artist. Marvin is the reason I listen to music, and the greatest definition of soul I can think of.

I WANT YOU remains my favorite record, not just for the incredible title track but for the entire suite, the way the entire album fits together like a glove. A masterpiece. Leon Ware's contribution is essential of course - two geniuses in the same studio!

Anyway, thanks for posting. No discussion/comparison of modern soul/r&b is even necessary, as it bears no relation to the artistry Martin achieved.

Here's my favorite Martin clip. Timeless.

so cool. I hope Stevie jamming Superstition on Sesame Street makes the cut! That clip sheds light on any cloudy day.
